Secondary to the malabsorption syndrome
 
Iron, folates, vitamin B12 deficiency
 
Anaemia
Vitamin D and calcium deficiency Delayed growth or delayed puberty
Bone and joint pain related to osteopenia and osteoporosis
Vitamin B12 and B1 deficiency Neurological disorders such as peripheral neuropathy
Malabsorption of the majority of nutrients  
Weight loss
 
Hypokalaemia and electrolyte depletion  
Fatigability
 
Vitamin K deficiency
